Paragon Security is pleased to announce the launch of a new range of ultra-rugged DNV type approved PTZ CCTV cameras intended specifically for demanding marine, naval and oil & gas applications.
DNV certification shows the camera has been independently assessed by DNV (Det Norske Veritas), a recognised international assurance and certification body.
DNV marine type approval and IEC 60945 certification ensure that cameras comply with safety, reliability and environmental impact standards including temperature, vibration, humidity, IP protection, safety and EMC. It reduces risk, supports regulatory compliance, and provides confidence that the equipment will perform reliably in demanding operational conditions.
The 4MP x30 optical zoom cameras, with integral wiper, offer IR illumination exceeding 300m. The 316L stainless steel devices offer protection to IP68.
The cameras have been tested to the highest levels of temperature, humidity, shock, vibration, salt mist and EMI including 30g, 25ms shock handling test. MTBF is 61,320 hours.
Camera illuminator options include no illuminator, IR illuminator (to 300m) and dual IR and white light. The cameras can be powered by PoE over a single Cat5/6/7 network cable or using Ethernet over Coax using existing coaxial cables.
