Keeping CCTV camera windows clean and clear is a constant challenge in harsh environments such as coastal, marine, oil and gas, and mining sites. Salt spray, dust, and other airborne contaminants can quickly obscure a camera’s view, compromising surveillance and safety.
To combat this, Paragon has launched a new range of wash-wipe systems designed for both fixed and pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras. Engineered for both safe and hazardous areas, the systems are suitable for the toughest environments.
The systems can be supplied as wiper-only or wash-wipe configurations and are compatible with your chosen IP camera or pre-fitted to Paragon’s own CCTV housings. Operators can trigger the cleaning cycle via IP using a video management system (VMS) or via an automatic timer for hands-free operation.
Each washer system includes a wiper, nozzle, water tank, and pump. When activated, the nozzle sprays water across the camera window whilst the wiper simultaneously removes liquid and debris, ensuring a clear field of view.
Key features include:
• Suitable for fixed and PTZ cameras in safe or hazardous areas
• Power options: 230 V AC mains voltage, 24V AC or 24V DC
• Tank capacities: 5 to 25 litres
• Maximum pump height: up to 30 metres between tank and camera
• Low-liquid alarm with automatic pump shut-off
• Marine-grade stainless steel bottle support
These rugged wash-wipe systems provide a reliable, low-maintenance solution to keep critical surveillance clear and operational, even in the most demanding conditions.
