Marine PTZ Camera – Marine Paint Finish

The PSOA-3Z30-XI68 marine paint finish rugged, ball marine PTZ camera is designed for tough, outdoor, surveillance applications. The die-cast aluminium body is anodised before being powder coated, making the camera environmentally tough and resistant to malicious attack or vandalism. All moving parts are designed to last; from its long-life, silicon wiper through to the motor technology used in its pan and tilt mechanism and its 30x optical zoom camera. MTBF is 7 years.

The External Compact Marine PTZ Camera offers an ultra-rugged, marine 3MP IP colour Pan, Tilt & Zoom CCTV camera with integrated pedestal assembly, PoE++ power option or local junction box and interface cable assembly. The PTZ camera is ideally suited to both external monitoring and situational awareness above decks on commercial & naval ships, as well as the limited lighting conditions found in the ship engineering spaces below decks. The camera is designed using the latest technology in intelligent imaging and video streaming and uses an advanced 1/2.8” STARVIS CMOS sensor with Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and exceptional low light performance. It produces four simultaneous video streams up to 3MP (2048x1536pixels) resolution at 25fps, in a choice of H.265, H.264 and MJPEG compression formats. ONVIF compliance ensures seamless integration with other compliant networks and Video Management Software (VMS).

The camera offers 30x optical zoom, with 16x digital zoom and ultra-low light sensitivity of 0.01 Lux in colour day mode, as well as auto ICR switching to night mode for extended ultra low light (0.0001 Lux) sensitivity with monochrome imaging. Smart, auto adapting, white light and near IR illuminator options are also available. The camera features a flat, optically-correct, toughened polycarbonate window for image clarity and includes an integrated wiper with long-life silicone blade. Its Marine Paint finish designed to give enhanced corrosion resistance of aluminum and mild steel. The gloss finish is an ultra-durable coating conforming to the requirements of EN 12206 and EN 13438 (High Durability systems). The camera is available in Marine White, Light Grey and Black. The combination of ultra-durable paint and its Dome Cover, which acts as a sunshield, helps to reduce extremes of temperature in direct sunlight.

Conversely, the dome cover also provides a level of insulation in cold environments and additional protection to the dome mechanism in marine applications. The rugged IP68 camera includes a galvanic isolation kit and marine painted steel mounting bracket options to further combat corrosion caused by electrolysis. Power options are PoE++ (60W/90W) or ship’s power via local junction box. The camera has been designed to meet naval military levels of shock & vibration_testing and also meets the rigorous IK10 impact testing.
